The DeKalb County Board of Education met briefly in the DCHS cafeteria on Thursday evening.

In his monthly staff report, Headmaster Patrick Cripps announced that Emily Estes has been hired as the district’s School Food Manager, replacing Amy Lattimore, who has resigned. Teresa Steele has also resigned as FS Manager at Northside Elementary School. Rachel Hernandez has been granted leave as requested. The board also appointed an intern school physiologist and gave the DeKalb Middle School Junior Beta Club fundraisers permission to make a scheduled trip to the national convention. If the trip is canceled due to COVID-19, the money collected will remain in this account.
