“Mainstream fitness formats can get monotonous and not challenge or inspire people enough to really build a long-term fitness habit. Our unique gamified training format keeps users highly motivated and motivated to do their best during each session, allows them to monitor their progress and keeps them committed to their fitness goals. Users who exercise on our platform are encouraged to compete against themselves or with friends and to track their fitness metrics holistically. We have released a successful beta version and plan to launch around the world by the end of the year, ”said Anurag Mundhada, co-founder of Insane AI.

Founded by Anurag Mundhada, Jayesh Hannurkar and Sourabh Agrawal, Insane AI uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to create the best home workouts and personalized training plans. The computer vision technology developed by Insane AI tracks the user’s body movements with a significantly higher resolution than is possible with a smartwatch. Using artificial intelligence and big data, Insane AI understands the effects of every exercise and functional movement on the user’s body and personalizes the workouts to help users optimize their fitness journey.

“Digital health and fitness has seen increasing demand amid the pandemic and is already a multi-billion dollar industry. What is missing, however, is the fitness experience at home that is just waiting to be disrupted by advances in technology such as AI, AR, and computer vision. At pi, we like companies that are fundamentally rethinking sectors based on disruptive technologies, and we love the immersive, engaging and sophisticated fitness solution developed by Insane AI. The founders themselves are experienced gamers and experts in the fields of deep tech, health and fitness. We are impressed with the vision and execution of Anurag, Jayesh and Sourabh and look forward to working with them to put gamified fitness at the center of people’s lives, ”said Shubham Sandeep, director of pi Ventures.

With the pandemic and lockdowns, gyms and gyms have been forced to close or go digital. Last year, health and fitness apps saw a surge in growth, with the number of downloads increasing by 50 percent. Consumers increasingly prefer digital fitness tools with analytics to improve their fitness. Insane AI combines fitness and gaming and recently launched its digital fitness platform in 2021, which offers interactive and gamified fitness experiences. The app uses AI which uses your phone’s sensors to count repetitions, analyze poses, and rate movements. The AI trainer evaluates fitness level based on performance and assigns workouts accordingly to work on users’ weaknesses and build on their strengths. The app follows strict data protection protocols and is completely safe, according to the platform.
