Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. has appointed Mark Schissel as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Schissel will succeed David Pezzullo, who is retiring after more than 17 years of service, and will take over this new title on August 2, 2021.

Previously, Schissel was Vice President, Enterprise Applications at Herbalife. In his new role, Schissel will oversee the company’s global operations as well as global business services, regional finance and operations functions, information technology and infrastructure, and cyber and global security.

Pezzullo, who joined the company in 2004 and held multiple titles including Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, will continue to serve in an advisory capacity through March 2022 to ensure a seamless transition.
“Dave’s leadership and contributions in various roles have been critical to the success of our company,” said Agwunobi. “While we will dearly miss his leadership and lovable personality, he leaves a great team and a great operation.”
