JOSIE Gibson has taken off two sizes of clothes and loves her body more than ever.

But the former Big Brother star, who became the host of This Morning, says she’s not interested in dating – since there is only room in her life for one man.

Josie’s son Reggie, who will be three in September, takes up all her time and still sleeps with his mother, which she does not want to change.

As part of WW’s Summer of Self Love campaign, single mother Fabulous says, “Reg doesn’t even know what his bedroom looks like.

“I know some people say, ‘You made a rod for your own back,’ but I don’t care, I like to sleep with him.”

Josie split with Reggie’s father Terry four months after he was born, but the couple got back together last summer when he moved to their Bristol home during the lockdown.

They eventually split up a second time, and Josie insists she’s happily single. She says, “I have a very good relationship with Reggie’s father.

“I would never date anyone at that time anyway, my son is two and a half, so I wouldn’t want to bring anyone new into his life.

“I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it, I’m a little weird about things like that.

“It takes a long time before I let someone in. And I don’t want to let anyone in now, at the age they are, it’s so precious.

“I only do this once, why should I give my time to someone else when I could give it to my son?

“He’s the most important thing for me now, I have nothing more to give, it’s just my job and he and that’s it.

“Reggie is bad, he can be hard work when I give my attention to others, but he also gives me my strength. He is brilliant, very loving, I’m glad I have him. “

Earlier this year, Josie revealed how she lost weight from a size 18 to a 14 after hitting a high of 17.

The reality star, who won Big Brother in 2010, went from size 20 to size 8 for the first time in 2012 and lost six stones after seeing unflattering pictures of her on the beach.

Except for 10.2 pounds, she had surgery to remove 6 pounds of excess skin in 2016. But Josie later loosened up her diet when she found love for Terry.

In 2019 she moved two stones in just 12 weeks – but won again in the following years.

When asked if she’s worried about her weight again with the yo-yo, she says: “I did it much slower this time because I was so militant before.

“I can’t believe I got back to that weight, I never thought I’d make it, it’s really not good for your body.

“It just creeps up and before you know it you’re like, ‘S ***, what did I do?’

“Everyone knows what to do. It’s about feeding your body the right foods and being accountable for them.

“Sometimes I’m not the best at it, I’ve been fluctuating between a size 14 and a 16 lately.

“But it’s easy to be responsible for it without putting too much pressure on yourself because there is too much pressure in life the way it is.”

Josie says bread is her demon when it comes to weight gain, with the star easily getting through four slices by lunchtime if she doesn’t take care of herself.

She admits, “I’m fine for the sweet stuff, it’s not the alcohol, it’s the fatty carbohydrates for me.

“My body doesn’t tolerate carbohydrates so well and then you feel very sluggish.”

Josie supports WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) Summer of Self Love campaign and emphasizes the importance of self love.

She says, “It’s lush, isn’t it? After what we’ve been through (with Covid), it’s about learning to love yourself again.

“I don’t mean, ‘Oh, I love myself, I’m so beautiful,’ it’s about appreciating your body and all the little things it does for you.

“Just having a little appreciation for yourself and for how unique you are. It’s easy to just start dieting, but first you have to love yourself.

“Because if you don’t love yourself, you are not treating yourself well, you are not bringing the good back into your body. You are a final thought.

“Self-love is definitely something I had to learn, I’ve gotten better at it over the years.

“I have such a newfound respect for my body and everything it does for me, it’s amazing.

“It’s easy to hate yourself and your body, when you’re in this downward spiral it’s hard to get out.

“Now I just thank my body for everything it does for me – whether it’s my hands and legs to work with or how I created this monster (Reggie).

“I used to beat myself up all the time as a kid, I didn’t like myself or my body.

“But when you grow into a woman, your mindset changes and you are so grateful for what you have.”

Josie says it is easy for the weight to go back up, even though she is determined to be more gradual with her losses now

Last year Josie, who is aiming for a size 12, had to defend herself against a body-damaging troll who described her weight gain as “absolutely hideous”.

But she denies keyboard warriors were her weight loss motivation.

Josie explains, “I don’t mind a troll, I don’t really care about them, they don’t bother me.

“There are always people who put others down to feel better.

“I got involved (with WW) because I literally couldn’t catch my little man. He went so fast and he ran away so I knew I had to do something.

“Now I can catch up with him and I feel a lot fitter and healthier. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a little ahead of me, but I’m enjoying the trip.”
