The third edition of Newtrition X takes place in parallel this year Anuga 2021, the world’s leading trade fair for food and beverages.

Newtrition X is under the motto “Personalized nutrition in practice” parallel to the Anuga Innovation Summit on October 12th as part of Anuga‘s hybrid exhibition offer.

The participants can look forward to a varied program with nine lectures by renowned speakers, including Peter Heshof, trend and marketing agency Bloom, who, as a keynote speaker, will shed light on the topic of “What do consumers want next?”. when it comes to personalized nutrition.

Define personalized nutrition

“It’s difficult for large companies to make a million personalized products,” he explains. “But what they can do is create a million personalized pieces of advice and indicate which existing products work best. Food companies should therefore work with well-known companies from the personalized nutrition ecosystem to support them with innovations and make them future-proof. “

Elsewhere, Sergej Vdovitchenko from My Healthy Food from Austria will use the event to present the first direct-to-consumer food webshop to use personalized nutrition as a guiding principle.

Using an AI-driven approach based on an individual’s microbiome, the webshop guides consumers towards healthier food choices and enables them to make choices that are best for their own metabolism.

Other speakers include Michael Gusko, Chairman of the foodRegio Focus Group for Personalized Nutrition and Global Director Innovation, GoodMills Group; Mariette Abrahams, founder and CEO of Qina, a platform that helps companies find, navigate and compare ecosystem partners for personalized nutrition; Rachel Clarkson, a UK based nutritionist; Benedikt Kurz, Business Development Manager at the wearable tech company Garmin Health; Melissa Snover, CEO and Founder of Nourished and many more.
